To lose pounds, there are only really two ways to do it. Lower your calorie intake and/or maximize the rate at which you burn calories.
Most weight loss plans only address calorie reduction. If you really want to drop pounds and keep the pounds gone, you have to do something different. You cannot simply starve yourself forever. The solution is to increase your metabolism, so you burn more calories. By going through more calories, you will burn the fat you want to lose.
