Give these ideas a try before your next bedroom redo

Filed under General Interests | Posted by guest author

With many people these days, master bedrooms are just the perfect place for us all to relax and get away from the anxiety of the work world behind you. You would like a nice and fresh room but really don’t want to spend alot of money. Not sure if you believe me..? Try the following tips and judge for yourself.

Bed linen. If you want to redecorate your bedroom on a budget, begin with a neutral spread and bedskirt. Having simple bedding will present a foundation for more daring bedroom designing projects. And neutral shouldn’t have to be tedious. Experiment with various textures and weaves that will liven up your palette. You should get the highest quality bed linens that you can find the money for however, you won’t be sorry later. My most favorites are 100 % pure Egyptian cotton sateen weave with tc of four hundred or more.

Boudoir pillows. Go wild with ornamental master bedrooms pillows. You can add a splash of color, some texture and some luxury with these small pillows. And they are easy on the pocket for the most part as well. Go to the remnant bin at your local fabric shop or hobby lobby. Select some luxurious fabric like buckskin, silk, linen or corderoy to manufacture your own very chic bedroom pillows.

Accessorize. Use your resourcefulness to create magnificent accessories. What about adding dried or fresh flowers, maybe flower boxes as well. If you like wicker, cool. If not you might go for more posh materials like porcelain or metal. How about a few contemporary mirrors..? You might include some that are little with attractive accents, and bigger ones on various walls to make your master bedroom appear bigger and make it feel more spacious and comfy. You might find some sconces if that’s your style. Paintings or other wall art sorts of accessories might be cool.

Nothing spruces up and freshens up a bedroom like a brand new layer of paint. Yes I’m probably crazy but I actually love the aroma too. Listen, you don’t have to get odd here but why not try something innovative..? Are you sick of ivory and white walls..? Why not check out light purple, green, coffee cream tones or even azure and trim it all out in white. Or possibly add some textured wallpaper in only the corner of your room. You could put a comfortable reading chair or recliner there and use that space as an extra personal refuge. More on bed linens

A small bit of imagination will help you turn your master bedroom into that fantasy retreat you would like.
