Pregnant women struggle with a lot of issues while they’re pregnant and even after giving birth. Women have to deal with various things such as swollen ankles, hurting backs, mood swings, and clothes that no longer fit. However, once your hormones return to pre-pregnancy levels after the birth of your baby, your hair starts making up for lost time. Usually, you would only lose a little hair at a time, but after pregnancy, a lot of it will fall out all at once.
If you’d rather minimize the amount of hair you lose during this process, fortunately, there are a few things that you can do. Here are some of these things:
* Look for a shampoo that contains silica and biotin. These nutrients make your hair more luscious, healthy, and strong.
* Don’t comb your hair while it’s still wet after you take a shower or go swimming. Wet hair is extra-sensitive to breaking and pulling out, so wait until your hair is totally dry before attempting to comb it.
* You can also use certain hair styles to keep your hair where it belongs. You should consider wearing cornrows or braids to keep your hair in place.
* Eat healthy foods. Foods that are rich in vitamins A, B, and C will provide your body with the nutrients it needs to keep all of your systems, including your hair, healthy and strong.
