Mountains and Dragon’s – The Drakensberg Area was declared a World Heritage site in 2000. This mountain wilderness, bordering Lesotho is a vast National Parkboasting the highest mountain range in our Country. Known to the Zulus as the Barrier of Spears the Drakensberge or Drakensberg Mountains are truly spectacular.
Zulu Heartland – To the west of the Hluhluwe area one can explore local cultural museums. Near Ondini find the reconstructed royal enclosure of Cetshwayo, the Zulu King. The fascinating Vukani Collection Museum is found close to Eshowe and boasts one of the best collections of Traditional Zulu Art and culture in the world
On Safari – Known for it’s Rhino protection programme and big five sightings, Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park is the best of this province’s reserves and boasts with a super range of animals.
